Vultr was founded in 2014 to “empower developers and businesses by simplifying the deployment of infrastructure via its advanced cloud platform. Vultr is strategically located in 25 datacenters around the globe and provides frictionless provisioning of public cloud, storage and single-tenant bare metal”.
The next level up from VPS (Virtual Private Server) is VPC (Virtual Private Cloud). Vultr Hosting provides high performance SSD (Solid State Drive) cloud based flexible networking options for cloud servers. In addition to the public network attached to every Vultr instance, one can configure up to five VPCs per location. They have 25 strategically placed points of presence (POP) sites around the world to launch a cloud environment. Additionally, they support ISO upload/mount, most Operating Systems (OS), no long term contracts, and hourly billing on our products and services. Plus, the ability to pay only for what you use is really nice.
Vultr pricing is not directly listed on their site but research indicates the range is $40 to $320 (USD) or more depending on selections. A contact form is on their page and is the best way to get a quote. They are very responsive and reviews indicate they have great service and support.
